Having looked over the results, it has been positive to see just how well the boys have done. The B and C teams, in particular, have achieved a consistency of success that reflects the effort and teamwork they have been putting in. The A teams have had some outstanding wins also and in this term’s tournaments it has been a tale of “almost, but not quite”. We will of course be reflecting on how we can support them to go one better next year!
Having had our first taste of rugby, it has been good to see how much information the boys have retained from last year and how quickly they are adapting to their age groups’ new rules. They certainly played with spirit and enthusiasm in the Bishopsgate training fixtures. I am excited to see how the boys get on in the New Year with the first fixtures against Newland House in the second week back.
