Hampton Pre-Prep warmly welcomes girls and boys aged 3 to 7 years into our happy, caring community. We believe that these early years are a unique and magical time in a child’s learning and development, and guiding children through them is an immense privilege for our team of early years specialists.
The main entry point to Hampton Pre-Prep for girls and boys is Kindergarten when a total of 22 pupils join the School.
Pre-Prep
Learning at Pre-Prep is a joyful adventure, full of discovery, imagination and new beginnings. Through play, exploration and gentle guidance, we nurture curiosity, build confidence, and foster kindness, perseverance and teamwork, helping each child find their feet, make friends and fall in love with learning from the very start.
During their time at Pre-Prep, children progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage (Kindergarten and Reception) and Key Stage One (Year 1 and Year 2). All pupils receive focused 7+ support, and at the end of Year 2, the majority of Pre-Prep boys move on to Hampton Prep via our 7+ and continue into Year 7 at Hampton, benefiting from a guaranteed 11+ place. Our Pre-Prep girls move on to a range on leading schools including LEH, fully prepared for the next stage of their education.
