The two Nativity plays have been performed – one took a direct route to Bethlehem, whereas the other, selected the perfect ingredients for a Merry Christmas! It was great fun staging both and we hope you enjoyed watching them just as much. How immensely proud we felt of all our little performers – what stars! Both were very much team efforts, we rely heavily on everyone getting involved and supporting one another in the run up to the day, so a huge thank you and very well done to all. Naturally, Miss Bee deserves special mention here as she has had such a busy time working so hard on our behalf, this week alone, she has staged four productions across the two sites.
Both of School Council’s initiatives have been extremely well received by their peers – currently the total raised for Children in Need stands at £263 (which of course includes the amount raised on the door on 17 November). The ‘name the bear’ competition runs until next Monday morning (11 December) so there is still time for more to come!
A quick reminder about next week – firstly, Open Classrooms take place on Monday 11 December. We do hope that you will be able to come along to see your child’s classroom and share their work. You will be able to enter the site via the front door nearest the office and you will find signing in sheets in each classroom. It is 11.30am for morning Kindergarten and 3.00pm for the remainder of Pre-Prep.
It’s then the much-anticipated Christmas Merrie on Tuesday 12 December. All children may wear their own clothes to school on that day – nothing too smart though, as the activities may get a little messy! For those new to the School, we immerse ourselves in a carousel of Christmas activities, not only is it the greatest of fun but the children get to work alongside friends from their colour team for the whole morning and the Golden Treat in the afternoon tops off the day!
This week the Courtesy Cup and Badge went to Coco (Reception) for always displaying lovely manners towards her teachers and her friends. And always being kind. Thank you, Coco!

Tonight, is the Prep Carol Service at St Mary’s Church, Hampton; this starts at 6.00pm and if any Pre-Prep siblings attend, it is important to note they must wear their school uniform please.
The end of term is on Wednesday (13 December) at 11.45 am – wishing you all a very merry Christmas when it finally arrives with hopefully plenty of rest and relaxation along the way.
