We all wrote special New Year Promises – you’ll be pleased to know that lots of the children promised to help more around the home. We do hope that you see plenty of these promises in action – do let us know with a Wow moment!
In mathematics, we sang songs about the days of the week and months of the year, and worked hard to put these in the correct order. We introduced the ‘Part, Part, Whole’ model of making number bonds for 5, we used counters to help us investigate how many different ways we could make the number 5.
