In mathematics, we have enjoyed using Numicon shapes to represent our teen numbers. We have also explored using a variety of resources, we especially looked at representing them on tens frames with counters and comparing Numicon shapes.
We have been busy creating too, making our very own parachutes! We used our fine motor skills to use a single hole punch to form the holes needed to form a canopy. We concentrated fully to thread the string to form the parachute. We have enjoyed playing in our role play Heathrow Airport, checking in and spotting the sights of London.
Next week we will be thinking about our new topic for the next two weeks, ‘Mindfulness and Water’.
