Lucas and Finlay especially loved making friends with the lambs. Oscar enjoyed feeding the goats and Prayan enjoyed the pig race! We then used our reflections to help us with our independent creative writing about our day at the farm. We have loved playing with the farm toys, inspired by our own map farm designs. We have also enjoyed milking Daisy our farm cow in the garden!
In mathematics, we tested our coin recognition, playing a game solving money problems. The children loved testing themselves, perhaps they could look at some coins at home, too?
Next week our topic is all about colour.
