Furthermore, it is always so pleasing for me to hear that the children conducted themselves beautifully whilst out and about on their visits – well done to all involved with the trips to Hanwell Zoo and Windsor Castle, and my grateful thanks to the parents who generously gave up precious time to accompany the visits.

We have also been delighted to celebrate Neurodiversity Week in ways both engaging and age-appropriate for all our pupils. Through thoughtful discussions, we have explored the wonderful ways in which our brains work differently, fostering empathy, understanding and, most importantly, appreciation for the unique strengths of every individual. It has been heartening to see the children embrace these ideas with such enthusiasm, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and kindness within our school community.

We look forward to welcoming you to Open Classrooms next Wednesday, 26 March. Parents of morning Kindergarten may visit from 11.30 am, while parents of all-day Kindergarten, Reception, Years 1 and 2 are invited from 3.00 pm.

Please note, Open Classrooms next term will take place on the last full Friday of term, as we understand this will make it easier for more families to attend. Parents may visit their child’s classroom at drop-off time, between 8.30am and 9.15am

This week’s recipient of the Courtesy Cup and Badge: Shaylen (Reception) for his beautiful manners and always following the Golden Rules.  A fantastic role model for his friends – thank you, Shaylen.

and Stars of the Week went to the following children:

Year 2: Varun for excellent mathematical explanations.  Super work, Varun!

Year 1:  Ed for being so beautifully behaved on our trip yesterday, and asking interesting questions.  Excellent engagement!

Reception: Amir-Ali for his fabulous letter formation and neat presentation of his work.

We also celebrated other important achievements – wee done to Finn and Oscar (Year 1) who both earned their Let’s Celebrate badges at Squirrels by spending three weeks learning about how people around the world celebrate things that are important to them with stories, songs, skills and snacks – what fun!  Congratulations to Noah (Year 1) for winning a medal in tennis for improving his forehand.

Have a wonderful weekend – hopefully the sun will shine!
