Don’t forget — next week, on Thursday 3 July, our year culminates with the Pre-Prep Concert & Prize Giving. The event begins at 9.30am and will take place in the James Hall at Prep. You’ll be able to enter the Prep site via the Carlisle Park entrance from 9.25am.

The children have been working hard to prepare a lively programme of songs and performances to entertain you, all under the wonderful guidance of Miss Bee. We look forward to seeing you there!

Later that day, the children will enjoy their Golden Treat. As mentioned by Mrs Murphy in the beginning of term letter, please remember that your child needs to bring a change of comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor play, along with appropriate footwear for sporting activities on the field. However, for the concert, they must arrive smartly dressed in their correct school uniform!

This week’s recipient of the Courtesy Cup and Badge: and Stars of the Week went to the following children:

Courtesy Cup and Badge went to Rosie in Reception class; for consistently displaying kindness, respect and good manners towards her friends and teachers. Thank you, Rosie!

We shall take this opportunity to wish you all a wonderful summer break.

Wear It Wild Fundraising:

Our School Council proudly organised a fantastic Wear It Wild day to raise awareness and funds for endangered animals. Children and staff came dressed in their wildest animal-themed outfits—from roaring lions and stripy tigers to fluffy pandas—creating a truly roar-some atmosphere across the school!

Thanks to everyone’s generosity, we raised an amazing £164.42, and we’re incredibly grateful to the HPPPA for generously matching that, bringing our total to £328.84! All proceeds will go to the World Wide Fund (WWF) to support their vital work protecting endangered species.

As part of our fundraising, we’re excited to be sponsoring an endangered panda, helping protect its habitat and receiving monthly updates on its progress!

A huge thank you to our brilliant School Council for leading the event, and to all pupils, families, and staff who took part and donated so generously. Your support is making a real difference to wildlife around the world.
