Further sporting triumphs came courtesy of some former Hampton Prep pupils, five of whom played a key role in the U13A cricket team that won the Bunbury Cup in the English Schools’ Cricket Association national final. A superb accomplishment and a testament to their continued commitment to sport.

It’s clear that many of our boys have remained active over the summer months, returning to school with great energy and enthusiasm. Their attitude in sports sessions this week has been excellent and it’s wonderful to see them applying themselves so positively.

Supporting our sports programme this year are our new Gap Year Teaching Assistants: Miss Shepard, Mr Martin, and Mr Fearnside. They have already made a strong start, assisting in lessons and preparing to help run fixtures throughout the term. You may well see them on the sidelines in the coming weeks.

Our Year 6 Sports Ambassadors – Henry, Taran, Jack, Max, Akhil, and Christian – took on their first responsibility this week by presenting the Sports Assembly. They spoke confidently and passionately about their experiences of sport at Hampton Prep. We look forward to hearing more from them in future assemblies, particularly on how sport can help develop skills for life.

Fixtures begin next week, and we’re excited to see the boys in action once again. The term kicks off with the U10 and U11 A teams competing in the Hampton 5-a-side tournament on Saturday afternoon. Here are the upcoming fixtures. Please do come along and support your son’s team:
