Our Eco Warriors are making a real difference across the school community. After writing a thoughtful and persuasive letter to Mr Smith, filled with creative and practical eco ideas, they were thrilled to receive approval for some exciting new initiatives.
Fruit bins have been introduced in every Pre-Prep classroom, alongside a dedicated bin for the playground – small changes that will have a big impact.
We are also delighted to share that the Eco Warriors plans have already come to life. A brand-new playground bin has been installed, thanks to their hard work and determination. Last term, the group carefully designed a range of options and put them to a pupil vote, allowing pupil voice to take the lead. The winning design? A rather eye-catching and characterful frog, which now proudly stands in our playground.
It’s been fantastic to see pupils sharing their ideas and bringing them to life. Their enthusiasm and creativity are really shining through – exciting steps towards making our school a greener place.
