In English, we have continued our work on fiction and non-fiction books, exploring the different features that help us identify each type of text. The children have been fantastic at recognising features such as contents pages, glossaries, photographs, and labels in non-fiction texts, as well as characters, settings, and story plots in fiction books. They have enjoyed investigating a range of books and discussing the clues that help us decide which category they belong to.
The children have shown great determination and enthusiasm throughout the week, even in the warm weather. Their positive attitude towards learning has been fantastic to see, and they continue to impress us with their resilience and hard work.
