During English, the boys have written about what role they would have if they joined the circus, compared the difference between punctuating with a full stop and exclamation mark and they have considered both arguments for the statement, “A good circus should have performing animals”, followed by their own opinion on this.

Some other activities we have got up to include creating camouflage butterflies (which have been placed around the school for Kindergarten, Reception and Year 1 to spot), designing a parachute that will be used for a science experiment, reading the story of Daniel from the Bible and practising different rhythms in music. Miss Bee has been very impressed with the children’s ability to create and copy rhythms on their own instruments!
