This week it was back to normal-ish for boys in Year 6, after the excitement of the trip to Italy for many of them last week! They enjoyed taking part in a carousel of talks on Tuesday kindly provided by parents, who shared insights and top tips about the adult world of work, from their various perspectives. The boys learnt about, amongst other things, being a doctor, a solicitor, working in management and marketing, science and environmental protection. It was a fascinating opportunity for them and opened their eyes to what adult life might be like. Most Year 6 boys have been in London today, enjoying a problem solving and puzzles day at the Crystal Maze Live Experience, with a smaller cohort of Year 6 boys off to the island of Guernsey this morning with Mr Salt and Mr Eliot. They are going to enjoy a weekend of cricket fixtures and a home stay experience with our long-standing friends at Elizabeth College Junior School, Guernsey. Fingers crossed for some sunny Channel Islands weather!
