The Christmas spirit is well and truly alive at Pre-Prep, with both Nativity plays now beautifully performed. Yesterday, Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 dazzled us with Baarmy Bethlehem – the Christmas story told through the eyes of three party-loving sheep. We hope you enjoyed watching the production as much as we loved bringing it to life. How immensely proud we are of our little performers—every one of them shone brightly like true stars!
Productions are a true team effort; I am deeply grateful to everyone who supported and contributed to their success. Special thanks to Miss Barnes for stepping in to assist us at short notice with her musical expertise. A heartfelt thank you to all of you for your encouragement, but once again huge congratulations to all the children.

Reminders for Next Week
Open Classrooms – Monday, 9 December:
We warmly invite you to visit your child’s classroom to celebrate their work and achievements. Please check the School Calendar for specific timings.
Christmas Merrie – Thursday, 12 December:
A highlight of the season! All children are welcome to wear their own clothes—nothing too formal, as the activities can get a bit messy. For families new to the school, this is a festive morning of Christmas-themed activities where children collaborate on Christmassy projects. It’s always a magical and joyful experience!
End of Term – Friday, 13 December:
A gentle reminder that term ends at 11:45 am. Children can be collected from the usual collection points.
Finally, a quick reminder that School Council are collecting for The Lighthouse charity next week (Monday 9 – Wednesday 11 December) who are need of the following toiletries for those facing hardship: shampoo, toothpaste and bubble bath. They are also collecting Christmas jumpers of all sizes.
As we head into the final week, I know we are going to have great fun enjoying the festive season and will round off the term in style but, in the meantime, have a fabulous weekend.
