A huge thank you to our wonderful school councillors and eco-warriors for their help with our first-ever pre-loved World Book Day costume sale today – what an incredible selection of costumes we had on offer! We are so grateful for your assistance in supporting the children to raise funds for London’s Air Ambulance Charity. A special thanks to Mrs Jepson and Ms von Alleman for their invaluable help in making this event such a success.
World Book Day is fast approaching (Thursday 6 March), when we’ll all be dressing up to celebrate the magic of books and reading. In the lead-up to the big day, we’ve already enjoyed some fantastic book related events – Reception had a wonderful time at Hampton Library, Regency Bookshop visited Pre-Prep on Tuesday and, next Wednesday, we are thrilled to be welcoming the brilliant author Tracey Corderoy to our school; her visit is sure to be both inspiring and full of excitement! We cannot wait to see the children in their book day costumes next Thursday.

Reception: Rosie for her creative flair – she is always very busy making and writing!
At the end of last half term, children in Years 1 and 2 took part in House Cross Country with great gusto and determination – we were extremely proud of the fabulous effort of the participants around the course. In assembly yesterday, the following received certificates: Year 2, Gold – Shreyan, Silver – Henry H and Bronze – Noah; and in Year 1, Gold – Wilf, Silver – Sebi and Bronze – Bodie. Many congratulations to all involved!
In assembly, we also congratulated Anish (Reception) for being named ‘player of the week’ in his football lesson at Little Kickers.
