From spotting acorns to admiring the colourful leaves, the children were fully engaged and beautifully behaved throughout their outing. Mrs Timba will share greater detail in her write-up, but it’s safe to say the trip was a great success.

Meanwhile, Reception led our very first-class assembly of the school year with a heart-warming presentation on ‘Marvellous Me’. As part of their personal, social and emotional development and with links to the Life Skills curriculum, the children celebrated what makes each of us unique and special. They also shared important messages about healthy living, including the value of exercise, a balanced diet and good hygiene. They told us about School Nurse, Liz Searle’s visit to their classroom earlier this week and shared her top tips. Thank you, Reception, for such a thoughtful and uplifting assembly!
This week the Courtesy Cup and Badge went to Archie G (Reception) for his beautiful manners and always following the Golden Rules. You are a fantastic role model for your class – thank you.
