PINK was the theme, and it has been interpreted in wonderfully imaginative and varied ways. From heartfelt poetry to mouth-watering pink cakes, from inventive Lego constructions to a flamboyance flamingoes crafted from an array of materials — the breadth of ideas has been truly inspiring. Each piece unique and reflecting the individuality and enthusiasm of its creator.

We hope you enjoyed viewing the children’s incredible work during the parent-teacher consultations earlier this week. It was abundantly clear to all of us that a great deal of learning has taken place — and just as importantly, a great deal of fun too.  Skills for life and skills in learning in spades!

Eco Warriors inspired in assembly on Thursday.  Our passionate Eco Warriors wowed us all with their thoughtful and ambitious plans for the months ahead. Their presentation was a brilliant example of pupil voice in action — something we are proud to champion here. To ensure everyone has a say, they are inviting the whole of Pre-Prep to vote on their ideas. What a fantastic way to empower our young changemakers and build a greener future together.  Special thanks to Mrs O’Brien for coordinating their efforts this year.

Halloween has also been celebrated in true style today, with a spectacular array of costumes bringing colour, creativity and plenty of smiles to our school! A huge thank you to everyone who took part and supported the School Council’s fantastic fundraising efforts for The Hygiene Bank—a charity doing vital work to tackle hygiene poverty.  We’ll be sharing the total amount raised after half term, and we’re so proud to be contributing to such an important cause. Well done, everyone!
