The festive fun continued with their first outing of the year to Cavan Bakery, where they purchased a very special gingerbread reindeer. The children handled the coins independently and asked so politely for their biscuits—such a lovely opportunity to learn about the value of money in a real-world setting.

On Thursday, we were delighted to welcome Sarah Allen from The Hygiene Bank to our assembly. She shared how the money we raised earlier in the term will be used to support local families here in Hampton. Our School Council is taking on another of their initiatives to build resources specifically for babies in the run-up to Christmas. Do look out for a letter from them very soon, explaining exactly what products are needed.

This week the Courtesy Cup and Badge went to Aryan (Year 1) for exemplary behaviour at all times.  Thank you for being a wonderful role model for your Year 1 classmates.

and Stars of the Week were awarded to:

Year 2:  Ed for immaculate handwriting, and for super focus when writing his daily common word sentences.

Year 1: Harry for impressing us with expressive reading, and for his enthusiasm for books. It is wonderful to see!

Reception: Archie H for fabulous independent writing about the story, Stickman.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
