Amongst other things, they shared their learning about the life and work of pioneering female palaeontologist Mary Anning, which was both fascinating and inspiring. Their poise, confidence and overall stage presence were truly magnificent, and we are incredibly proud of them.  Well done, Reception!

Recently, we have noticed a few Smart watches appearing back in school on children’s wrists. A gentle reminder that electronic devices, including Smart watches with imaging, recording or sharing capabilities, are not permitted in school.  We are very happy for children to wear a watch to school but our strong preference is for an analogue watch rather than a digital one, as this best supports the development of their timetelling skills.  Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and focused learning environment for all children.

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!
