Yesterday, Mr Smith looked more closely at the people who inhabit our planet, introducing the children to the renowned artist Kehinde Wiley. He explained how Wiley’s bold, colourful portraits challenge traditional ideas about art and representation. His work has helped more people see themselves reflected in paintings, questioning long-held views about who is shown as powerful and important.
A new term brings with new leadership opportunities for the children. We announced the summer term House Captains and Vice-Captains, as well as our new School Councillors for the term ahead.
