Time seems to be flying by, who can believe we are now mid-way through the first half of the Spring Term, with only 15 days until 11 February we have plenty organised to keep us all busy in between times! One thing I must flag again is OpenView’s workshop for parents on Monday 31 January at 8.45am – 9.45am in The James Hall; this promises to be great event with valuable tips for keeping children safe online. OpenView have asked me to stress to all that the content covered will not be suitable for children and, therefore, will be an adult-only event.
The recipient of the Courtesy Cup and Badge was Ediz (Year 2) who was first on hand to offer Mrs Murphy help when she had a catastrophe in the art room dropping a pot of gems all over the floor; he was so kind and helpful!
and Stars of the Week went to the following children:
Year 2: Jazz for persevering during this week’s swimming lesson when he found one of the strokes a bit tricky!
Year 1: Max for being such a superb role model and active citizen with Hampton Pre-Prep.
Reception: Teddy for his super independent news writing – well done!
This term’s School Councillors were announced today: Jack and Jazz (Year 2), Charlie and Jacob Ra (Year 1), and Tobi and Jimmy (Reception). In due course, we look forward to hearing what plans they have up their sleeves!
