Beauty of another kind was explored in a fascinating and very intellectually challenging manner by Mrs Adams, in her magnificent assembly on Wednesday morning. She displayed and stepped us through the works of renowned British artist Lynette Yiadom-Boakye, whose introspective style encouraged really insightful comments from the boys, as they aimed to explain what was going in the hearts and minds of the figures in her extraordinary paintings. Ms Yiadom-Boakye will feature in what is set to be a magnificent exhibition, opening at Tate Britain next week. I recommend you consider taking your boys along at some point to reinforce further what was covered in assembly here at school: CLICK HERE
