Compassion goes in and says, “I am here to help.“
Sympathy says, “I wish I could carry your burden.”
Compassion says, “Cast your burden on me.“
Do please ask your boys what they have managed to take away from our assemblies on this theme so far. The boys in 4W deserve a special mention for the excellent manner in which they presented their own examples of compassionate behaviour so clearly, and in such well-rehearsed yet natural ways.
