To that end then, Mrs Tinkler recently reached out to the Local Authority and we are now supporting their Friendly Parks for All project. This project aims to make the use of parks in and around our community as accessible and welcoming as possible to a whole range of different stakeholders.
Boys in the Prep were invited to take part in a mosaic mural design competition, to be created and displayed in Carlisle Park, near one of the entrances. There were 21 entries overall and the Parks for All Project felt the standard was very high. A winner will be chosen through a panel which will include the Friends of Carlisle Park and the mosaic artist, who will bring the design to life. Many thanks to boys and supportive parents for getting involved. Mrs Tinkler will be able to update us all on the winning design and when it will be created and installed as soon as we know.
