The U11A cricket team travelled to Guernsey for their much-anticipated annual tour against Elizabeth College, continuing a long-standing and cherished tradition between the two schools.
The tour began in excellent fashion, with the boys securing victory in their U11 fixture thanks to a strong all-round team performance.
A particular highlight of the trip was the opportunity for the boys to stay with pupils from Elizabeth College and their families. The experience provided a wonderful chance to build new friendships, immerse themselves in island life and enjoy cricket beyond the boundary rope. The boys embraced every aspect of the visit with enthusiasm and represented Hampton Prep superbly throughout.
The team also faced Elizabeth College’s U12 side, rising to the challenge with determination against older opposition. Their positive attitude and competitive spirit were evident throughout the match, as they continued to battle hard until the final ball.
We look forward to welcoming the Elizabeth College boys to Hampton Prep for the reciprocal tour in October.
