Through careful deliberation, one boy from each year group and each house was voted in to represent their house at the FINAL!
At the final, we welcomed Ms. Rachel Morse, who is an English teacher from Hampton School, to adjudicate the competition. Ms. Morse was bowled over by the standard of poetry that was being performed and the professional performance each of the finalists put together. This made judging winners extremely difficult! We were particularly grateful to Ms. Morse for evaluating each of the finalists so carefully and deciding who the overall winners of each year group were:
Year 6 – Vihaan Kukreja (Tudor)
Year 5 – Oscar Gilbert (York)
Year 4 – Edward Jolliffe (Windsor)
Year 3 – Aubin Williams (Windsor)
Year 2 – Harry Thompson (Lancaster)
Therefore making the overall winning house….Windsor!
We are incredibly proud of all boys’ efforts this week; their performances very much made an impression in the hearts and minds of the very lucky audience. Well done to all of you who took part in this competition and congratulations to all the winners and to Windsor house too!
