Our art and craft activities followed the same theme, with the children making 3D goats using cardboard tubes, paint, felt, and collage materials. They also created Billy Goat masks to use as props for their ‘trip-trapping’ adventures! One of the star challenges was making our own trolls using playdough and a variety of collage materials, including feathers, pipe cleaners, wiggly eyes, matchsticks, and pompoms.

A huge congratulations to Alyssa on receiving her Gymfinity Proficiency Pre-School Award for Level 4 and to Archie on achieving his Alpine Skiing Ourson Award—well done!

In circle time, we have had plenty of discussions about the importance of sitting properly on chairs. The children have been reminded that all four legs of the chair must always be on the floor.  Additionally, we have been focusing on good table manners in the dining hall. The children have been practising key habits, such as saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’, chewing with their mouths closed and remaining seated.  We appreciate you reinforcing these key habits at home – thank you!

We continue to work through the Jolly Phonics scheme. Please click here  for correct sound pronunciation – it is important the children learn pure, crisp sounds from the off.

Next week, we’ll be starting our new topic on Spring!
