Kindergarten’s Superhero Day brought plenty of magic to School, as pupils dressed as their favourite heroes for the day!
Spider-Man proved especially popular, with several web-slingers spotted around the classroom. Other heroes included Catboy, Iron Man and even Elsa, who added a touch of frozen magic to the celebrations.
Pupils explored what it truly means to be a superhero, reflecting on the qualities that make someone heroic and agreeing that kindness, compassion and helping others are the greatest superpowers of all. Pupils also recognised real-life heroes within the community, including doctors, firefighters and police officers, who demonstrate these qualities every day.
In Music lessons, pupils soared higher than Superman, crept like Batman and zoomed around the hall like Spider-Man as they explored how different superheroes might move to a variety of rhythms and sounds. Using plenty of energy and imagination, the children brought their favourite characters to life through music and movement.
