Year 6 pupils enjoyed an exciting visit to Hampton School for New Pupils’ Day, giving them a taste of life as First Years ahead of their move in September.

The day began with a welcome from Headmaster Mr Knibbs, alongside the Heads of First Year, Mr Hill and Mr Fuldner, who introduced pupils to the opportunities and experiences that await them at Hampton School.

One of the most entertaining parts of the day was a fashion show, where current Hampton pupils modelled the school’s winter and summer uniforms, as well as the football and rugby kits. There were plenty of laughs as the boys got their first glimpse of what they will be wearing when they join the School.

Pupils also collected their Hampton passports, packed with useful information to help them prepare for the transition. They met their future form teachers, got to know the classmates in their new form groups and posed for their first class photograph together.

To mark the occasion, each pupil received a Hampton cap – the perfect souvenir from a memorable day.

With new friendships already forming and excitement building for September, our Year 6 are ready for the next stage of their Hampton Journey.
