Indoors, the ever-popular dodgeball and indoor cricket have provided plenty of high-energy excitement, ensuring the boys remain active and engaged despite the conditions. Time spent cooling down in the form rooms has been put to good use too, with boys analysing the World Cup matches and the England v New Zealand Test, showing a keen interest in the game beyond their own participation. There have, of course, been plenty of well-earned water breaks along the way.
Happily, the weather looks set to cool just in time for a week full of House sport. Conditions are shaping up nicely for Sports Day on Monday (parents’ race competitors—start limbering up now!), followed by House Cricket on Tuesday and Wednesday.
With plenty of House points still up for grabs, there is much to play for and, as ever, lots of fun to be had as we approach the end of term.
