These events will bring exhilaration, joy, exasperation, an experience to bond over with our friends and families, a chance to be awestruck by human capabilities and also act as a simple welcome distraction. This is what makes sport great. This week I have been looking over photos from House competitions this year. To the boys, these events are as important as the ones I have previously mentioned. Never do the boys play with such passion and joy, teamwork and energy as when they play their peers in a House event. They gain so much from these sporting experiences too and it is no wonder that after looking through all the photos I was left feeling happy and satisfied at what the boys had taken part in, despite all obstacles, knowing how much joy they derive. Going into the summer holidays, I hope you enjoy playing sport, watching sport and talking about sport with your boys and the rest of your family and make the most of what it can bring to life.
