It was the Year 3 and 4’s turn to play on the Friday and the Year 3s had a great afternoon, recording some great results against some much bigger schools. Mr Bendelow was so impressed with all their running and defensive organisation he struggled to select a Man of the Match and instead gave that award to the whole squad. The Year 4s had a tougher run of it and probably didn’t play to their potential. However, they more than made up for this on their trip to the Caldicott School Rugby Festival on Tuesday, where they recorded some excellent results.

On the Saturday morning, Years 5 and 6 were in action. Both teams had a slow start and got better as the morning progressed. A special mention to the Year 6 team. They were severely depleted due to injuries and Covid but they continually picked up their game and made progress as a team. The Year 6s A-D have a triangular fixture to look forward to on Monday next week and the U10As will take part in the first Hampton Prep U10 Rugby Festival on Wednesday. We will have 4 teams visiting. Please do come along and spectate.
