We felt very lucky to have the whole school out on such a cool, crisp afternoon. As is usual with House events, boys ran their hearts out, crunched into tackles and played with passion. No matter what standard boys played at, it was clear they were all trying their hardest for their House. This effort and good spirit encapsulated everything we ask of boys. I look forward to when parents can, once more, attend these events and you can see this for yourselves. After six hard fought matches, eventually it was the York House Captains who raised the cup victoriously at the end of the afternoon

I should like to thank all the school staff for helping to make the event special for the boys and the hard work of the Games staff this half-term who have kept the boys engaged and progressing, despite the lack of fixtures.

After the holiday we still hope to play Willington Prep. We will obviously keep you updated as to whether this goes ahead. The first week back will also be the play-off week of the Hampton Prep Premier League so no matter what happens with the fixture, excitement is guaranteed.
