The U9s played Newland at home, with the frozen ground forcing a change to touch rugby. All teams showed ambition, good structure and decision making. They look to be shaping up well.

The U10s faced Willington on Wednesday and proved a good match up. The As started slowly and came back into the game but unfortunately lost by slim margins with some work on decision making in the final phases highlighted as an area for improvement. The Bs did well to win their game and the Cs also recorded a victory.

Claremont Fan Court School travelled to us today for the U8 fixtures. There were mixed results, victory for the As, a loss for the Bs and after a close game a slim loss for the C/D teams. A note on the U11 fixture next week against Claremont Fan Court, this will now be an away fixture with A and B teams only playing.

There is another full week of fixtures next week and I look forward to seeing the boys progress.
