Watching the U9 Bs in their fixture play defensively through seven attacking phases and never let an attacking player through thanks to constant pressure and excellent tackling was very pleasing to see and it was the moment in the game they had the opposition beaten. After half term, there are some tough fixtures against Bishopsgate and we hope to see the boys build on their progress.

Today was the House Cross Country Competition. As usual, the boys were great and giving their best for their Houses, whether it was pushing themselves to gain an extra position, supporting the Years 1 and 2 in their races, or cheering in the last runner, no matter his House. The Year 6 race had a dramatic finish with Reuben and Theo pushing themselves to a sprint finish. Theo, a Lancaster House Captain, took first place with many other Lancaster boys crossing the line soon after. It was this effort that won Lancaster the competition. A big well done to them.
