The U9 As and Bs travelled to Caldicott Prep on Tuesday for their rugby festival. It was a great festival, with plenty of pitches to play on, six other teams to play, hot chocolate for the boys and a light dusting of snow to add to the atmosphere. The Bs played with good consistency and recorded 3 wins, a draw and 2 losses. The A team won 4, drew 1 and lost 1. There were some big schools in attendance so an excellent effort from our boys that they can be proud of.

The U11 As had to embrace their inner polar bear on Wednesday as they played in wet, windy and cold conditions at the Surbiton Rugby Festival. The boys played some lovely attacking rugby in their first fixture against TPS to win the game. In their second game against Newland House, Newland used their big player to effectively disrupt our ruck, which affected our ability to attack effectively and led to a loss. The conditions curtailed the festival after that. I would like to say well done to the boys for staying so positive in miserable conditions.
