The upcoming week is a big one for the U11A cricket team. They face Rokeby Prep in the next round of the Verney Cup at 4.00pm on Thursday. They are then off to Guernsey on Friday where they will play Elizabeth College and the Guernsey Island team over the course of the weekend. Good luck to them.
The U10 A-Ds played The Mall this week. The As were slightly off their stride, which led to them having a big target to reach when it came to their turn to bat. They did well to get within 10 runs of the target but it was a bridge too far. The Bs put in a strong and consistent performance in their 16 over game and won by 9 wickets. Theo was particularly impressive with both the bat and ball. The Cs and Ds both won their games with Isaac and Seb putting some great bowling performances.
Finally, we are being blessed with some great weather at the moment. In the afternoons it has been hot and sunny all week. However, we are noticing not many boys are wearing their school caps. Please could you ensure that if sunny weather is forecast (as it is next week) that boys bring in their school cap and have sun cream applied/with them.
