The U11s didn’t concede a try. For the final game, the boys were placed against the top team from the other group. For the U11s this was Shrewsbury House and the U9s, Fulham Prep. The U11s was and exciting fixture. Shrewsbury House scored a breakaway try early on. The boys responded well, camping out in the Shrewsbury half. The pressure finally converted to a try in the final minute of the game and the result finished 1 try all. The U9s took the game to Fulham and continued their winning streak to be clear winner. A big well done to all the boys, and in particular, Max in the U9s and Arthur in the U11s for being nominated for their team’s player of the festival. We look forwarded with excitement to see how these boys get on in their next festivals after half-term.

On Thursday, it was cold, it wasn’t wet, but it was muddy: perfect conditions for the House Cross Country! Throughout the afternoon’s races there were those boys and girls (in the Pre-Prep) who impressed with their pace and others who impressed with the determination just to keep going, as they ran through the mud of Carlisle Park to earn points for their House. Everyone from Year 1 to Year 6 put in an outstanding effort. It was a fun and enjoyable occasion and great to see so many parents spectating too. After all the races had been run, Mr Bendelow ran the calculations, and it was Tudor who had earned the cup for the second consecutive year. A big well done to them!
