The U9s played Newland House and demonstrated the depth of talent in the Year group with wins from all Teams, A through to D inclusive.
Today, the U9 A team had the pleasure of travelling to the exceptional sports facilities of Epsom College to play in their Super 8s cricket tournament. The ‘7 Over’ format made for short but exciting games! The boys recorded wins against Hornsby (won by 6), Banstead (won with 5 balls remaining), and Thomas’ Fulham (won by 3 runs). Local rivals, Surbiton, also with a streak of 3 wins, were the opposition for the fourth game to decide who would play in the final. Our boys put in a great batting effort of 60, but Surbiton were better on the day reaching 61 with 5 balls remaining. It was a great day with an excellent effort from the boys. Rayan particularly impressed with his bowling and a hat trick of sixes. Well done to all of them!
