Secondly, our annual visitors from Elizabeth College Junior School, Guernsey flew in today to take part in out U11 5-aside football tournament taking place at Hampton tomorrow. The pupils are staying with some of our Year 6 parents who have generously offered to host. A huge thank you to them for their hospitality. Having played Hampton U12Cs this afternoon, the pupils have an evening bowling with their Hampton Prep hosts. Then the tournament tomorrow, which, with 12 strong teams attending, promises to be a morning of quality, high pace football.
In other news we had some great performances form the U8s at Surbiton. Their understanding of the game continues to improve, playing with more awareness of space and of their teammates!
Likewise, the U11s, played some dominant football against The Mall on Monday. Recording 3 wins and a draw.
Looking forward to next week, unfortunately The Mall have had to cancel the U8 and U9 fixture on Tuesday. The boys will be training instead.
