On Wednesday, four pupils from each year group travelled to The Mall School for their swimming gala. For many, it was a new experience, but they quickly adapted to the starting whistles and commands as they lined up against two Mall teams and TPS. There were excellent individual efforts: Oli (Y6) in backstroke, Barnes (Y6) in breaststroke, and Luke (Y4) in front crawl all claimed first place. The boys really shone in the relays, often taking second place and cheering each other on with great enthusiasm. Their combined efforts earned them second place overall, a fantastic achievement.

This morning, the U10s departed for Bristol on their sports tour to the Westcountry with Mr Johnston, Mr Hitchen-Hoy, Mr Martin and me. It is set to be a busy and exciting couple of days, including football fixtures against Bristol Grammar School, their first ever hockey match against Kingswood School Bath, tenpin bowling, and finishing with Harlequins vs Gloucester at The Stoop. It promises to be a fun and memorable experience for all involved.

Next week brings the final House competition of the term: House Rugby, taking place on Wednesday at 2:15pm in Carlisle Park. The boys have been working hard in House training this week and demonstrating excellent teamwork and cooperation. Boys should come to school dressed ready for rugby, wearing their House T-shirts instead of rugby tops. Please do come along and enjoy what promises to be an exciting afternoon of rugby.
