The U11s hosted and the A team did all the right things, looking comfortable on the ball and passing it around beautifully. They scored a lovely goal as a result. Where TPS had the edge was in their desire to win the game and it was this that earned them their victory, a 3-1 win. We look forward to the A team lifting their game against Bishopsgate next week. The B team played a patient game, applying pressure all through the first half but coming away with only one goal for their efforts. However, the floodgates opened in the second half and Ed W recorded a hattrick in five minutes. Well done to him and the rest of the B team who finished with a 5-0 win.

The U8s had to contend with some muddy and torn up pitches by the end of the week. The Cs and Bs won by a sizeable margin. The A team game was fiercely contested and it was excellent to see the effort and skill of both teams on display. The score was tied a 1-1 with 2 minutes to go. Jasper, in goal, had made some excellent saves in slippery conditions. He was very unlucky to be beaten by an unreadable bounce from a dip in the pitch and the game finished 2-1 to TPS.

It was a similar story for the U9s with clear victories for the Cs and Bs playing some organised football. It was a high scoring loss for the As, a 5-2 defeat.

Next week brings the last fixtures for the U10s and U11s in the season against Bishopsgate. This will be the first of a few sporting lasts for the U11s, this being their last football match for Hampton Prep. Do come along and spectate. The U8s and U9s will also be in action (also against Bishopsgate), but another week of fixture awaits them in the following week.
