I said to the boys how proud they should be of their efforts, whatever their house, as the conditions were scorching. Despite the heat, boys pushed themselves and never gave up whatever their position. There was even a record broken by Bertie Rissi in the 200m, congratulations to him

It was also great to see the return of the parents race after a three-year hiatus. Mrs Rissi showed where Bertie got his pace from by winning the Mums’ Race. A more general well done to the dads for the number of them that stepped up to the start line.

Looking to next week, there is House Cricket on Monday with the Yr 3s and 4s in action from 9:30am-11:00am and the Year 5s and 6s games starting at 2pm. Do come along and spectate.
