Listening ears were well and truly switched on as our Pre-Prep pupils enjoyed a very special visit from author and illustrator Ged Adamson.
The children were captivated as Ged read The Elephant Detective, a wonderfully engaging story about a missing elephant that had everyone eagerly guessing what might happen next.
As if that wasn’t exciting enough, pupils were also treated to a reading of an unreleased book – a moment that made everyone feel special to be among the first to hear it.
To finish, Ged wowed us with his fantastic drawing skills, showing the children how he brings his characters to life. Pupils enthusiastically joined in, creating their own illustrations and discovering just how much imagination goes into making a story leap off the page.
