In mathematics, we have been doing lots of counting of groups of dinosaurs and completing addition number sentences. We have also been learning to count in 10s! We have also continued our focus on money, counting out pennies and using different combinations to pay for items in our dinosaur museum shop.
Reception made some colourful hand print dinosaurs using printmaking techniques. They enjoyed making dough dinosaur bones for a dinosaur dig and making a volcano! The children at school have also enjoyed taking part in a dinosaur hunt around the classroom as well as a dinosaur dung investigation each day looking to see if the dinosaur was a carnivore or herbivore!
