We also enjoyed writing about a voyage. Firstly, we talked about different ways of travelling on water and all the different sorts of vessels one can travel in. The children then chose how they would like to travel and wrote about where they would sail in the world. It was lovely to hear how creative they were in choosing where to set sail, including fantastic places such as, Antarctica, Sri Lanka and The Amazon. Included in their writing, the children described what they hoped to see on their voyage.

In mathematics, we have been measuring and comparing lengths. We have drawn our families in order of height and also measured Superheroes with non-standard units. We have also been working hard on number formation, and counting and adding groups of sea creatures.

We have also been super creative mixing paint colours, printing and collaging sea scenes and printing shells on salt dough.
