The children helped me to find my missing ‘Teddy Edward Bear’ who strangely disappeared from my bag this week. I was so pleased that the children thought to split into groups, put on their teddy-hats to search for my lost bear! We were especially surprised to find him choosing us a bear story in the library!
In pairs, we have enjoyed making ‘a going on a bear hunt’ map; it was lovely to see how imaginative the journeys following the map would be! We have enjoyed playing with the bears habitats in the Tuff tray and playing in our classroom outside garden.
In mathematics, we have been looking at complex pattern making and building our own. We have also been counting on in 2s and 10s.
