We enjoyed listening to the story ‘The Little Raindrop’ by Joanna Grey. This told of a little raindrop’s journey through the water cycle. The children then wrote some fantastic little raindrop stories of their own – some raindrops fell into puddles, others were part of beautiful rainbows, whilst some were washed up on a beach.
We have been busy sowing tomato, cucumber, chilli and bell pepper seed for our vegetable garden. We currently in the process of ‘chitting’ our potatoes ready to plant. We had fun planting some cress heads at the start of the week and were amazed to see them already beginning to sprout. We also planted some brightly coloured climbing sweet peas which we are hoping to grow up canes in our playground.
