We also combined art and literacy and each made our very own treasure maps! To make our maps look old, we ripped the edges off teabags, staining the paper in order to age it. The children were so excited to add detail to their maps. We then had to label our maps drawing on our phonics knowledge.
In mathematics, we have been looking at our teen numbers in more depth. We have practised forming the numbers correctly and representing these in different ways!
Our role play area is fit for a King, complete with a set up for a coronation afternoon tea at Buckingham Palace! The children have been donning a crown and gown! On Friday we learnt all about the King’s Coronation and enjoyed our celebrations at the Prep.
