Reception had a lovely trip to our local library this week. The children walked there and back beautifully, showing fantastic listening!
At the library, they enjoyed a story read by the librarian about a troll and the importance of staying positive. There were plenty of giggles and smiles as they listened carefully.
The highlight of the visit was choosing their very own book using a library card. The children thoughtfully selected a story they were excited about and brought it back to school to share.
They also discovered some fun and interesting facts about how libraries work and why they are such special places in our community!
